The donation criteria are subject to change. Some donations may be declined due to safety concerns or marketability.
Business and Estate Donations
If you are considering a large donation from your business or an estate, or if your donation has additional complexities that require special attention (such as the amount of items or their location) we would be thrilled to assist you! Since donations of this type often require special planning and resources, please contact our Acquisitions Specialists Eric or Noah at 919-744-2416 or acquisitions@trianglerestores.org and they will be in touch as soon as possible.
Items we do not accept
We do not accept items that are not in sellable condition – this includes items that have rips, tears, stains, odors, or pet hair. We also do not accept items that have real or potential safety hazards such as items that have recalls or any hazardous chemicals. All items must be in good working condition as we do not do any repairs or restoration of items.
The following is a comprehensive list of items we do not accept. Please review carefully and do not donate items that we cannot sell: this will add to our dumpster fees and take away money from our mission.
