Name and Title: Lee Alexander, Glenwood Ave. ReStore Assistant Manager Home town: Garner, NC Current town: Willow Spring, NC When did you start working at Habitat Wake? October 2016 What is your favorite thing about working for Habitat? The comradery and working towards something (funding the housing projects). What does your typical work day look like? Right now, CONSTRUCTION! We are building racks, carts, fixtures, and painting. The Glenwood Ave. store itself is undergoing construction with a new roof, stripping and resurfacing the floors, and tearing down some walls, etc. What do you do in your spare time? I am currently working on my degree in Information Systems Security (IT Security). I spend any extra time with my wife and 9 year old little girl. I also like sports: basketball, football, golf, tennis, and my favorite collegiate team is: UNC......GO HEELS! Do you have any pets or children? No pets, 1 daughter (9 years old) Favorite meal: Meat Lovers Pizza or Lasagna Favorite sport (to play or to watch, or both): Basketball What are three items on your bucket list? Vacation to Hawaii for at least 2 weeks; sky dive if I can pull myself to do it; and take my daughter on real camping/hiking trip in the mountains. Dream vacation: Tour England, Scotland, and Italy for a month. Do you have any strange hidden talents? I enjoy going to the gun range and I am a really good shot. Favorite movie line: Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me. Pirates of the Caribbean. Thanks Lee! We can't wait to get that Glenwood Ave. store open so we can serve even more families.
