Triangle shoppers enjoy visiting the Brier Creek ReStore because it has an open, organized floor plan with attractive modern finds. We’d love for you to come visit Alexander Village, grab a coffee at Dunkin’ and browse the store!
Jarod Reader, Store Manager
Jarod has been managing the Brier Creek ReStore for nearly three years. After spending six years working in the credit union world, he loves the active, engaging atmosphere of the ReStore. One of his favorite tasks is designing vignettes to make inventory feel fresh and inviting. He loves being a part of Habitat’s mission to build affordable homes in the Triangle.
Outside of work, Jarod is a big hockey fan. Born and raised in Michigan, he is devoted to the Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoys running, hiking, golfing and traveling with his wife. They recently ran a half marathon! The couple has two cats named Troy and Levi. Jarod is a foodie and loves sushi from Orchid Japanese Restaurant. His favorite color is blue!
Leah Marshall, Assistant Store Manager
Leah has been with the Brier Creek ReStore for five years, transitioning from traditional retail to find a fresh perspective and new opportunities in the ReStore environment. She enjoys the variety of donations that come in daily and loves interacting with shoppers, volunteers and donors. Her favorite memory was the store’s one-year anniversary, when they built a “mission house” display to showcase the ReStore’s impact on affordable housing in the community. One of her favorite store tasks is pricing small items and home goods. She encourages shoppers to explore every aisle when they visit since inventory changes so frequently!
In her free time, Leah enjoys hiking with her husband and spending time with her cat. She spends most evenings decompressing with a good puzzle. Originally from Guatemala, she was adopted at six months old and raised in Chapel Hill, NC. Her favorite food is sushi, and her favorite color is purple!
